Located in the Heart of the state of Mississippi, Carthage provides an ideal place for gathering artists and craftsmen. Each year the Carthage Coliseum and grounds will be crammed with displays reflecting many talents for the Arts and Crafts Festival. Make your plans now to attend as an exhibitor or to come to Carthage and begin your Christmas shopping early.

The event opens to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday morning and remain open until 7 p.m.

Friday night. Then on Saturday, the hours will be 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Exhibitors will need to

set up on Friday morning and should remain until the closing time. Exhibitors remaining

until closing time will be entered into a drawing for one free booth space next year.

Browsing through the aisles inside the Coliseum and in the parking area outside, all types of arts

and unique, handmade items can be found such as paintings, jewelry, dolls, basket weaving,

leatherwork, metal-work, ceramics, woodwork, needlework, and photography. The Oktoberfest Committee continuously strives to improve the quality of the Festival.
